Archie's Fight for Life: Your Help is Needed

Hello, we are Gloria and Jeff, proud owners of two, sibling Goldendoodles Archie and Bryce. These two 85lb. bears of ours are 7 yrs. old and have loved us as much as we’ve loved them. Our days revolve around them ❤️. Three weeks ago, Archie collapsed while walking towards us and could not get up. We had to rush Archie to the Cheat Lake Animal hospital where soon after examining him, the Dr. advised that he was critical and she felt he should be euthanized. His vitals were all very poor and a quick scan showed a very large mass in his abdomen…and that he was bleeding internally. While we were deciding what to do, the doctor administered fluids and Archie improved dramatically. She then gave us a 30% chance Archie could survive surgery. He made it with the help of a transfusion from another dog, the doctor’s skill and a lot of praying. The next 4 days he remained at the hospital and wouldn’t eat but this changed when we took Archie’s brother to visit him. He finally started to eat and we were able to bring him home where he continues to improve while we await the biopsy results. Archie continues to improve with his brother Bryce always closeby and of course Gloria and I administering medicines and buckets of love to help him heal.

Gloria and I have never asked for help before but today we must. The hospital bills are incredibly high and far exceeded the amount we set as our goal. We want to reach out to all of our friends and family for help by donating to the lifesaving mission we’ve been on to save our Archie. Know that we appreciate greatly any amount you can spare to help us with our miracle boy’s medical bills. We are left with the option to be in debt for years paying the bills as our savings won’t cover this.
