Arelis Perez - Medical and Dental Expenses

My name is Sheila Ostrofsky. I am raising money for my friend, Arelis. Arelis and her husband Hermelindo migrated here from Guatemala in 2005. She and her husband worked for me in the nursery business (planting bushes) as well as at our home, our parent’s homes (both sides) and with several other projects along the way. They are wonderful and extremely hardworking people. They have 2 children in Guatemala, who live with Hermelindo’s mother and 2 children in the United States, Johnny (15) and Katelyn (13). Arelis worked at the Golden Corral for several years, taking the bus every day from Lake Worth to Royal Palm Beach. One 3 different occasions Arelis injured herself on the job. Somehow Golden Coral managed to explain their way out of paying for her medical expenses. They also didn’t provide her with worker’s compensation.

In addition to back, shoulder and neck pain caused by her accidents on the job Arelis has gotten a tooth infection that has spread so far as to affect her entire mouth. She is in constant pain. She has had surgeries to remove her teeth and now needs several operations to be able to get the dental devices she needs. She also needs to pay money to doctors to for any kind of help with for the back, shoulder and neck pain. They live paycheck to paycheck and desperately need financial help.
