Introducing Ares Judo– a unique judo showcase that combines the thrill of a team event with a social twist. This isn't just a judo tournament; it's an opportunity for our judo family to come and enjoy an evening together, with some top class judo on display.

- Celebrate with the Judoka: The DJ will play late into the evening so people can enjoy and celebrate with the champions.

- An Unique Approach: Come and enjoy something a bit different to the normal judo tournament, whilst having the opportunity to socialise with judoka, coaches and supporters outside of our busy jobs and lives!

- And more!: The event will be as exciting and thorough as we possibly can make it with the resources available to us.

Why We Need Your Support:

Creating an event of this magnitude requires substantial resources. We will be raising the funding for this event ourselves which is not always easy. From securing a venue to hiring professionals for lighting, sound, and entertainment, the costs add up quickly. Your generous donations will help us cover:

- Lighting and Sound: Professional equipment to enhance the experience for both competitors and spectators.

- DJ and Entertainment: Providing top-tier music and entertainment throughout the event.

- Venue Hire: Allow full use of a dojo and bar all day.

- Prizes and Trophies: Offer high quality trophies, medals and prizes for competitors.

- Marketing and Promotion: Spreading the word to attract participants and audiences from near and far.

- Logistics and Operations: Coordinating all the moving parts to ensure a smooth and successful event.

- Long Term Investment: We want this to be an annual event and to increase the offering to have an event for Pre-Cadets, Cadets and Juniors in the future.

Everyone you speak to in Judo would love to see a Judo league in the UK, and we really hope that Ares Judo could be the spark needed for this. Whilst a league would also require high finance and resources, we want to show that it can be done when as many people are involved as possible!
