Arguello Emergency Fire Fund

UPDATE ~ As of February we have had many individuals reach out and offer labor assistance in the demo and rebuilding of the home!  We are lowering the goal amount as a result of this and feel incredibly blessed to have had such wonderful support!   Thank you, thank you, thank you  to those who have and will be helping out!

  In the early morning hours (1-2AM) of Sunday, January 20th the Arguello family awoke to their home in flames.

                      We feel incredibly thankful and blessed to have them all still with us alive today ~

The house was NOT INSURABLE based on it's construction, which makes the situation worse  (fund goal would be much less if it was).  However, if it had not built it with cinder block and concrete, the house would not still be standing.

The Fire Marshall and the city's verdict on the house is that it cannot be re-inhabited and current estimates for a complete scrape and rebuild has been an estimated $157,000.
