On Monday, my dear friend Katie came home from work to a fire in her home that started in the kitchen. Thankfully, her husband Lou and baby twins Hunter and Harlow, we out for a walk and are all ok.
Unfortunately, they can’t stay at their home until the soot and smoke is cleaned -- which traveled through the central air to the whole house -- and the house is livable for the babies and parents.
They had to leave without any of their possessions and it will probably be weeks before they get back.
I'm hoping this incredible Facebook Community can help my dear dear friends and babies during this crazy time....they will have so many expenses (some not even known yet), particularly for the babies who have none of the necessities left in the house.
I know we are all going through things, and we all cannot even imagine what it would be like to come home to this - please give what you can!
