ARHS InvenTeam EurekaFest Trip Fundraiser
Donation protected
Hello, we are the Amherst Regional High School InvenTeam, and we have received the Lemelson-MIT InvenTeams Grant for our work in increasing the efficiency of search and rescue personnel. Our goal is to create a device that can help monitor vitals signs of SAR workers and allow them to better communicate with each other while on missions. In June of 2024, we will go to MIT (in Cambridge, Massachusetts) to present our inventions at EurekaFest. Only 8 schools nationally received the Lemelson-MIT InvenTeams Grant this year. We’ve worked very hard and are so lucky for this opportunity! Roughly 15 students will be going on this trip, and transportation and room fees are very expensive. It costs $500 per person to go on the trip, and we want to ensure that all of our valuable members have the opportunity to attend EurekaFest. A donation of $250 will provide lodging for one student, and $100 dollars will cover transportation for one student to Cambridge. We would be so grateful for your support of us young inventors and our plan to help better the community!
We hope that with the help of all of you, we can reach our fundraising goal!
