Aria Brown's Short Film Fundraiser: BioWitch

Donation protected
Help fund Aria's final creative project in Huntsville before she leaves for school in Savannah!

BioWitch surrounds the character of Ziya (Aria Brown), who's been genetically engineered with the power to manipulate people's blood, muscles, and bones. Now she and her brother, Kaden (Jordan #ChillCity Moore), are on the run from the organization that turned her into an experiment. Will she be able to control her dangerous new abilities and escape to freedom, or will her makers- and her powers- finally take over?

Aria Brown is the writer, director, and producer of BioWitch. She is a 21-year-old SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) student who's had a love of storytelling for as long as she can remember. She's lived in Huntsville for about a decade and has wanted to make a film the entire time she's been here, especially with all of the talented people she's met along the way. So this will be like her last hoorah and become a love letter to the creative friends she's made during her time in the city.

One of Aria's biggest passions as a creator is centralizing minorities and underrepresented groups. In addition to BioWitch's centralization of African American main characters, Aria also decided to infuse her love of American Sign Language into the story by making the character of Ziya hard of hearing. The short film will also be entirely closed captioned.

Funds from this campaign will go toward feeding & hydrating the cast and crew, as well as purchasing props and setpieces. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your time! With much love,
Aria
