Aria the Husky needs medical help!

Want to join me in making a difference? Aria is a 7 year old Husky who was recently surrendered to Follow Your Heart Animal Rescue due to the extreme costs of her medical treatment. She was found to be owned by a neighbor of one of our Fosters when she was left in the owner's back yard when they went out of town the weekend of July 4th.
She had a full medical checkup at Follow Your Heart Animal Hospital, and she needs a lot of work. She has Valley Fever, including lesions on her lungs, an abscessed tooth, with the infection causing a mass on her right cheek, and is in need of a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO) to remove her left hip due to extreme hip dysplasia.
The owners have surrendered Aria to FYH so that she can be treated and nursed back to health. This is going to be a long and expensive process. The rescue's vet believes it may take as much as 3 years to clear up the valley fever. In addition, her body is so weak from fighting it that we cannot do any of the required surgeries until she starts to improve. The estimated cost of her treatment at the current time is approximately $6000.
Currently, her medical treatment plan is Fluconizole for 6 weeks to treat the Valley Fever and Clavamox for 2 weeks for the tooth infection. After 6 weeks, her blood work will be re-done to determine the effectiveness of the Fluconizole and whether or not she can handle surgery. If she is able to handle surgery, she will have two separate surgeries. The first will be to extract the infected tooth, clean all of her other teeth and spay her. The second is the FHO. If it is determined that she is not yet healthy enough for surgery, we will check again in another 6 weeks. She will likely need to be on the Fluconizole for at least 3 years and possibly the rest of her life to manage the Valley Fever infection.
Please help us get Aria the medical care she needs to allow her to live a happy and pain free life. Any donations in excess of the cost of her medical care will go towards the expansion and renovation of our animal hospital and to care for other dogs with special medical needs.
