AJC #stopthebullying

There is something that happened this week in our lovely city of Fort Collins and it's definitely not happy but it's staying with us and we need to say, please, please please talk to your kids and have an open relationship with them where they can come to you about anything. You never know what can happen and I hope and pray that my boys would never find that they could not come to me for help, or to a friend of mine if they needed it. One of Aiden's classmates from Elementary school took her own life. Ariana was 11. She lived in our neighborhood and I cannot wrap my head around not seeing that precious little girl riding her scooter near the park next summer. I just cannot imagine what could make an 11 year old not think that she is worthy of existing! We found out that she was being bullied at school and that the bullies told her she should kil herself. This is unacceptable, and we need to empower our children to speak out and get help. Hug your babies. xxxxxxx. #stopthebullying
Thanks for your support!

Our sons went to Riffenburg Elementary school with Ariana
All money raised will be donated in Ariana's name to stompoutbullying.org via electronic donation, just like donors here have made
The Larimer County suicide rate is 65 per year over the last 11 years, the goal is set at 715 equaling the 11 years that Ariana was.
