Ariannah get to Junior Olympics in Oregon!

Ariannah Floyd, 15, a junior at Firelands High School is setting some serious goals for herself! She finished her sophomore year as a 3-event medalist at the regional track meet. Taking 7th in the 100m hurdles, 6th in the 4x400m relay and 4th in the 300m hurdles, qualifying her for state. Competing for the first time at the OHSAA state track meet at Jesse Owens stadium in Columbus, Ohio. Ariannah placed 11th in the state for the 300m hurdles. With club track team, The Oberlin Spikes, competing at USATF Nationals Ariannah won sixth in the 100m hurdles, 8th in the 400m hurdles, 3rd in the 4x400m relay and placing 1st in the 4x100m relay. Her team competed against girls from all over the United States. She just recently competed in Michigan at the USATF Junior Olympic regionals and finished 1st in the 100m hurdles, 1st in the 400m hurdles, 1st in the 4x400m relay and 3rd in the4x100m relay. Her efforts qualified her for Junior Olympic Nationals in Eugene,Oregon. Ariannah is hoping to continue her successes in Oregon and become a Junior Olympic champion. But this comes at quite an expense. Her family is hoping to raise some funds to get Ari to Oregon and help her achieve her goals.
