Help Aria’s Family with support after brain tumour diagnosis and treatment.

I have been friends with Cody for a long time and when she told me that her daughter Aria had a tumour and had to have brain surgery I was shocked and devastated. Cody is the most selfless person I have ever met and has been there through all the good and bad times for me and now I want to be there for her and her family.

This is their story.
Aria is a bright, brave, and energetic 4-year-old who has faced more challenges in her young life than most of us ever will. In October 2024, at just 4 years old, Aria was diagnosed with a rare brain tumour called a Craniopharyngioma that affected her pituitary gland. What followed was a gruelling 10-hour brain surgery to remove the tumour, and two weeks at Kings College Hospital. Despite the surgery, an MRI in January revealed the heartbreaking news: the tumour has regrown.

Now, with her next surgery scheduled for March 3rd, followed by proton beam radiotherapy, Aria and her family face a long road ahead. The treatment will take place in London, where they will need to stay for several weeks near University College London Hospital (UCLH). For Aria, this will likely mean a permanent loss of hormone function, requiring her to rely on life-saving medication for the rest of her life. In addition, the recurrence rate for this type of tumour is extremely high, and Aria will need to undergo frequent MRI’s, CT scans, and blood tests for life.

Cody, is a 3rd-year student nurse, just 4 weeks away from qualifying. However, due to Aria’s condition, Cody’s ability to work has been severely impacted. She is also a self-employed night carer, and the financial burden of caring for Aria while trying to balance her training and work has been overwhelming.

The next few months will be incredibly difficult as the family navigates the logistics of living in London for Aria’s treatment. The financial stress of not being able to work and the costs of daily living expenses are weighing heavily on them.

This is where we need your help. Your generous donations will help relieve the financial burden of living in London for Aria’s treatment and recovery, ensuring her family can focus on providing her with the care, love, and support she needs. It will also help create precious memories with Aria during this challenging time.

Aria’s condition means she will require constant care, and it’s crucial that she never stays with anyone who is untrained. This journey is one of hope, but also one of immense challenges. Your support can make all the difference.

Please donate, share, and help us support Aria and her family as they fight this brave battle.

Thank you for your generosity and support.
