Ariel MaGill's Medical Emergency

My name is Kadie Bedford and I am hosting this Go Fund Me for my sister, Ariel MaGill. On Thursday, January 26th, she saw a cardiovascular surgeon in Billings, MT, because she had staph and strep in her sternoclavicular joint. She went in for what was thought to be an outpatient joint clean out procedure, but it quickly turned into a more extensive surgery that left her hospitalized for 7 days. That first surgery was followed by two other surgeries, for a total of 3 surgeries in 7 days. The surgeon removed her left clavicle head, a portion of her sternum, and a portion of her first rib due to infection. She has been on and will continue to be on a 24/7 wound vac for three to six weeks. She also came home with a picc line and will need to receive iv antibiotics three times a day for the next six weeks. Her out of pocket expense for these antibiotics, alone, is over $600 a week. She is not able to work, or drive during this time. As you can imagine, Ariel, her husband Justin, and their two young daughters, were not prepared for the financial burden that comes along with such an urgent medical matter.
