Ariel's Spring Tuition

Ariel is a talented working-class Latinx artist residing and studying in Houston (see her work at her Instagram handle: usopheric). She is a first-generation student at the University of Houston, where she is completing a BA in Graphic Design so that she can capitalize on her skills and procure a job that will allow her to provide for herself and her family.
Ariel is a non-traditional student, in the sense that she is 29 and entered university last fall after a hiatus from community college studies. Like many working-class students and/or students of color, Ariel had difficulty working two or more jobs while completing college coursework at San Jacinto Community College. However, Ariel decided to complete what she had started in the fall of 2018 and graduated with her Associate of Arts from San Jac in spring 2019. Shortly afterwards, she received the Transfer Excellence Scholarship from the University of Houston.
While this scholarship and the Pell Grant have been applied to Ariel's tuition for spring 2020, she still owes the university a significant amount of tuition money ($1,700). Ariel currently maintains a 3.8 GPA and is enrolled full-time, attending class and working at Texas Arts Supply every day of the week except for Friday.
As Ariel's partner, I am doing my best to help pay for our bills, but I am also on a very slim budget as I am a PhD student who will graduate this spring. This spring is the final financial hump for us. Once I get a job after graduating, I will be able to pay for almost all of our expenses AND Ariel's tuition so that she will not have to work so much while attending university.
Ariel is one of the most deserving and hardworking people that I know. It should be noted that she suffers from chronic physical pain, so the fact that she is such a kind and sweet person despite the mental and physical stress she is constantly under really speaks to her character. Any financial assistance you can offer to help Ariel fulfill her goals will be greatly appreciated.
