Arielle’s Hospital Stay Expenses
Donation protected
Arielle Coen had her first seizure in April of 2022. From then on they had increased but were still staring spells. From August she had started developing a different kind of seizure known as.grandmal seizures and tonic clonic. Her first hospitalization was October of 2022 where she was finally put on a med to help stop only for the meds not too work. She was hospitalized in November for increase in seizure activity but ended up having covid and rsv which had lead to the seizures. In December of 2022 she was admitted again for increase seizure activity which was from weekly to hourly. She was then put on more meds to help with decreasing the seizures. This had worked for two weeks until January which then her meds had then ran out and she began to seize more. She was admitted to the hospital after falling in the clinic at a neuro appointment. She was then given refills on her meds and was discharged ready to go home. That lasted for a day and then she sits here currently in a hospital room waiting for more answers to why. Arielle is a 5yr old girl who goes to Delevan Elementary.
In despite of her being hospitalized not only is she missing out on a bunch of school but mom can't work and is still a student who can't study because she has to be supervised 24/7. She is in need of lots of support and it's very hard on everyone around her because of safety Grandma is missing work due to being there and having to work around to being there for support and even as a ride from the hospital to home. Financially its taken its toll because of limited work hours on grandma.
Donations will be used for unexpected car repairs, expenses while hospitalized, and day to day bills to keep them afloat.
