Ariel’s Fight Against Leukemia

Hi everyone!! Let me tell you about a little girl who was uprooted from her home, leaving her brothers and friends behind, and is currently fighting for her life at St Jude’s in Memphis. Ariel is an amazing, sassy, intelligent 8 year old girl who is scared for her future and what cancer treatment will entail. No child should ever have to fight just to have another day with their family.

After a visit to her local pediatric ER, Ariel and her parents were rushed to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis where she received the official diagnosis of B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Their world stopped turning, but the bills have not stopped coming. It is unclear how long Ariel will be living in Memphis but for now, her family needs help to ensure Ariel has a house to come home to, her mother can keep the family health insurance, her brothers have food on the table, etc... Ariel’s brothers are still back home trying to navigate life without their sister and mom. Her family is not the type to ask for handouts but they need help. Fortunately, St Jude will take care of Ariel’s medical expenses, food and housing while in Memphis so this fundraiser will help with the expenses outside of St Jude.
