Arizona Artist won't be able to paint for a while
Donation protected
Sarah Schweiger is a beloved Arizona artist and renowned face and body painter. On October 16, 2021, Sarah suffered a tremendous fall down concrete stairs and broke her left arm in two places and severely sprained her right wrist. She will be having surgery on her broken arm on October 27th. As a full-time artist and face painter, this puts Sarah in a precarious position - right before Halloween which is her highest income period of the entire year.
Her friends and family desperately want to raise funds to cover her rent, car repair and living expenses through the winter months to assure her a safe and easy recovery period from this terrible fall without having to worry about finances.
Sarah has been a major contributor to the Phoenix art scene, not only face-painting at the Uptown Farmer's Market, but taking part in the Black History Matters movement as a painter - which was awarded a Best of Phoenix Award. Sarah has been deeply involved with Phoenix area schools, painting murals and mentoring students for many years. Life as an artist is tough and financially challenging without both arms in cast and brace. We really hope to make her life a little easier right now. Any amount you can spare is graciously accepted, and if you can, please share this fund link. The more who see it, the better!
