Arizona Ice Cream Tour for oral immunotherapy
Donation protected
Emily was born with a severe dairy allergy that landed her in the hospital several times with allergic reactions. She was 9 when she started Oral Immunotherapy (OIT) to desensitize her to dairy. Her family promised her when she was able to have ice cream she could eat as much as she wanted to, and they’d make it a point to visit different ice cream shops around Arizona (and around the country and world) and she could rate them.
What started as just a fun family tradition, and A LOT of ice cream (70 places to date since September 2017 including those in several states and countries!) officially turned into the "Arizona Ice Cream Tour" in the Spring of 2020.
Besides finding the best ice cream around, Emily's goal is to use AZ Ice Cream Tour to support other kids going through OIT. It changed her life and she'd like to help others be able to change their lives.
You can also follow along with @AZIceCreamTour on Facebook , Twitter , Instagram andTikTok and follow her journey.
