Thank you so much for your support of our community Town Hall event!
We are hosting a Town Hall event for constituents of Arizona’s 5th Congressional District. Congressman Andy Biggs has been invited to attend the Town Hall scheduled for Tuesday, April 18th at 7:00PM at Gilbert Elementary School 175 W Elliot Rd, Gilbert, AZ. The event’s producers expect to gather 340 of Congressman Biggs’ constituents to ask questions on various topics including: education, healthcare, immigration, national security, environment, trade, the judiciary committee, and others.
Representative Andy Biggs has declined our invitation and the hundreds of additional requests for his attendance. Our organization will hold this event as scheduled regardless of the Congressman’s attendance. We will be utilizing this event as a community engagemment and voter education event instead.
This community Town Hall event will include a panel of four local figures with relevant political and legislative experience. These speakers will be fielding questions submitted ahead of time and live at the event. We also plan to have a prominantly known news personality as the moderator of this event.
At the event will be representatives from Republican and Democratic parties registering voters and providing information to constituents on civic involvment and community resources.
Funds collected from donations will be utilized to provide sound equipment, printed materials, lighting, insurance and rental fees. Any fees above those spent directly on the event will be utilized for future community outreach through community service and education. The citizens of Congressional District 5 deserve a forum to express their opinion and hear answers to their questions in a constructive, safe and moderated environment.
