Arla’s ACL Surgery

Hello, I’m Stephanie and I’m the dog mom of Arla.

Arla is the sweetest and most loving dog I could ask for. She is everything to me. She has a degenerate ACL disease (as the vet called it) and it’s going to cost $4,500 per knee. The right knee is completely torn and becoming arthritic. The left knee is in partial tear and will most likely need surgery within the year. We’re doing one at a time per the vet’s recommendations. Currently have her on pain management, her first surgery cannot be done until April 26th, that’s the only availability they have. She is currently in pain off and on due to the right knee being completely unstable.

Her favorite activities involve tug of war, hiking and chasing squirrels out of our yard, which we haven’t been able to do in attempts to keep the other knee from going and to stop her from being in pain while enjoying her favorite things.

I’m struggling for funds due to the position I am in. Anything at all helps, these bills are already racking up.
