Arlene Nelson and her medical expenses

Hello! My name is Nancy Dayne and I am fundraising for my dear friend Arlene Nelson. Her battle with breast cancer began in the Summer of 2023. A pet scan recently revealed that the cancer has spread to several areas of her body, and has shifted from an ER+ breast cancer, to now triple negative bc. This is going to be a long road and I am hoping to help offset the costs of treatments, non-healthcare costs, and research funding for trials that may not be covered.

I met Arlene at CSULB about 20 years ago. Those who know her, know she is SUNSHINE. I have always admired her optimism, grace and her big heart. She is an amazing wife to Corey and mother to Audrey and Kendall. In her profession as a Child Development Instructor at CSULB, her students will tell you that she is caring, passionate, innovative and a wonderful mentor. She is the kind of person who helps anyone in need and I am SO blessed to call her one of my best friends.
