Arlos Cruciate Surgery

Donation protected
Arlo went to Milcroft in January over stiffness in his hocks and his xrays showed Medial Cornaiod disease (elbow dysplasia) in his front legs and cruciate disease on his knees.
He was referred to Kentdale Orthapedics for a full assessment and weve been given a full breakdown of what Arlo needs.

They have advised that his patella is slipping and he has cruciate disease and his cruciate is inflamed and showing signs of deterioration. Unfortunately the the only fix is surgery for both legs.

Hi also has mild hip dysplasia but this is not causing him any problems and once surgery has been done should help with the dysplasia.

He also has Elbow dysplasia but he is showing no lameness on his front legs or head nodding, they have advised they dont want to operate as this may make the elbow worse as he is managing fine on it. But they have advised that his elbows could deteriorate anytime from 6 months to 3 years.

I have set up a go find me for him, as the insurance may not cover both surgeries as classed as one disease.
Meaning the £8000 estimate fee will need £4000 towards it.

I cannot thank everyone enough for the well wishes and concern for Arlo. And I will be ever so grateful for any support we get.
