Armando (Mando) Mendoza

My dad Armando Mendoza was born in Reynosa Tamaulipas on March 30, 1956, a few days shy of his 66th birthday. He came to live in Mission when he was a little boy and he grew up loving cars, dancing and living life to the fullest. He taught me how to fight and defend myself from boys and also how to dance cumbias and corridos. He loved watching wrestling and taking care of his two Chihuahuas, Chiquita and Zoe. I would always tell him i was his favorite and he would say, "Yes, mija!" And, "I love you, mama!" I'm so gonna miss his calls every morning to wake me up and tell me, "vas a llegar tarde mamá, ya levántate!" When you're young you wish to be older so you can do what you want but what you don't know yet is that growing older means your parents also grow older and that means you'll eventually see them pass away. This is by far the hardest thing we, as adults have to go through. One day we shall meet again daddy but for now RIP in heaven, you will be surely missed!!!! Love you to the moon and back!!! ❤️
