UPDATE: Thank you to all our supporters for their generous donations. Through this funding campaign and private donors we have reached our goal financially and our life goal of competing at the 2022 Winter Olympics. The experience was surreal and one that we will never forget. This has been my personal goal since I was 5 years old.

UPDATE: On September 25, 2021, at the Nebelhorn Trophy competition in Oberstdorf, Germany, Tina Garabedian and her partner Simon Proulx Senecal (team Armenia), qualified to go to the 2022 Winter Olympics to be held in Beijing, China. We are grateful to everyone who helped Tina and Simon on their quest.
Tina and Simon don’t just skate. They are Olympic contenders who have had their opportunity taken away from them because of a flawed COVID testing process at the World Figure Skating Championships on March 2021.
Tina Garabedian and Simon Proulx-Senecal went to The World Skating Championships held in Stockholm, Sweden to qualify for the Olympics in ice dance representing Armenia. But they were denied the chance to compete. Simon was told that he had tested positive for COVID-19 just hours before they were to go on the ice. They later found out that the officials had given them the wrong information. Simon never had COVID and was retested negative. But it was too late, the competition was over.
After working tirelessly for two years to perfect their program, their chance to qualify for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics was gone.
Help Tina and Simon correct this injustice. They will use the money to continue media awareness, pay for training, coaching, international travel to compete, costumes, music, and equipment. They will train and prepare for another chance to qualify for the Olympics in September of this year in Obersdorf, Germany.
Show that Armenia cannot be denied its moment to shine on the world stage. Please help Tina and Simon secure the Olympic spot they deserve.
