Armijo / Rodelo / Lopez Fire Fund

On July 23rd,  2018, a fast moving 40 acre brush fire raced through the Torres Martinez Reservation in Thermal, Ca.  Nearly one dozen mobile homes were destroyed, cars were left charred and the Armijo / Rodelo / Lopez families were left homeless.  Margarita and Natividad Armijo , along with their daughters, Laura, and Selly shared the property at 66925 Martinez Rd.  Each lived in their own dwellings.  Margarita and Natividad lived in a small house. Selly along with her husband Modesto, and children Maya and Yaco lived in a double wide home,  and Laura in an RV she had recently purchased. These families are in need of help as they look to rebuild.  The families lost both of their homes and one RV and their valued possessions. The loss was made worse as their pets died in the fire: 2 cats, 2 dogs, birds and chickens. Just seven months ago in December, the Armijo family lost a newly remodeled mobile home - just before Christmas - due to a fire.  Please donate what you can...every amount helps and will be going directly to these families. The Red Cross assisted with basic living necessities  - but more is needed. We appreciate your support in helping these hardworking families rebuild their lives!
