Army Veteran Family Displaced and disheartened

Hi my name is Angel. I am raising money to secure housing for my family. We recently made a cross country move in order to be closer to family with health issues. We were renting a home and couldn’t understand why everyone was getting so sick. Especially, my wife who suffers from an autoimmune disease. After her second hospitalization we discovered mold in our bathroom. We fought for months with our property management company about wether it was safe or not to continue living there. Finally we scheduled a mold testing at our own cost and the home was deemed unsuitable for living due to an aggressive mold infestation in the HVAC system! Imagine thinking it’s in a wall to find out it’s in the very air we are breathing daily. My wife works from home and my kids homeschool so they were being exposed nearly 24/7. We have terminated our lease and are in the process of moving out. This is where we need your help. Until our deposit is returned we can’t afford to move to another home. We have secured a hotel for the first week, but aren’t sure how we will pay going forward. So we are here and hoping some kind people will give us a hand in a year that feels like it’s been holding us under water.
