Arnprior resident suffers house fire

Hi, my name is Sydney, and I am fundraising for my dear friend who lost her home in a house fire on June 8th, 2024.

The fire started in the mid-morning while Kyrah and her elderly dog were sleeping. Thankfully they have both made it out with no injuries. Unfortunately, she has lost everything other than the clothes on her back, and the urn of her late puppy (pictured).

Kyrah is a fun, adventurous, kind young girl who has been living on her own since 16. She has been a resident of Arnprior for many years, and hopes to stay within the community. She only just moved into this house a couple months ago, with hopes of a fresh start and a new job. With the very recent loss of her puppy, this is a devastating event.

Kyrah is in need of everything. The money from this fundraiser will go to her to help her find a new home as soon as possible, as well as trying to replace some of her belongings. For now, she is unsure of what the next few days will hold, but we will do our best to get her back on her feet.
