How it all started…….

In 1967, a group of businessmen had an idea to create an affordable sports facility for the whole community. The Sports Centre Charitable Trust was founded, and fundraising began. Over the following 5 years, Lord Folkestone donated the land which the Sports Centre sits on and the community raised £153,000 towards building the Centre.

55 years later, Folkestone Sports Centre Trust is still here and thanks to our members, users, grants, funds and charitable donations, we still provide affordable sports and activities for the whole community.

New Fundraising Challenge….

Covid-19 has provided us with many challenges and to help bounce back from the last 2 years, the staff and volunteers have pledged to travel Round the World, 40,000km, in 80 days starting on 1st April, finishing on 20th June.

How you can help….
