ARR GP49 Shell

This is a place to make an advanced reservation payment to buy an HO scale Alaska Railroad GP49 shell. These will be custom produced, injection molded, undecorated locomotive shells. Designed to fit on all Athearn Blue Box, RTR and Genesis chassis made for GP38,40,50, and 60.  The shells will be available May orJune of 2021. The advanced reservation price is $35 each and this offer expires March 5th. After that the retail price will be $45 each. A painted and lettered version will be offered later for $100 each if there is interest. The model will come as modified with the aggressive snow plow, front ladders, winter hatch and 4-pack headlights above the cab. the snow shields will be installed separately.
