Arrington Family Wheelchair Accessible Van

This gofundme is to raise money for the Arrington Family. As family and friends know, Stan had a hunting accident back in 1998 and has been paralyzed and in a wheelchair ever since. He's had many surgeries and complications over the years, however, he has overcome adversity and has tried to not let his disability hinder his life. While his struggles have been many, he's fought for years to still be able to do the things he enjoys; hunting, boating, taxidermy, and spending time with his grandchildren. After being in the chair for over 24 years, as well as normal aging, he is now at the point where he's struggling to get in and out of his vehicle. Karen is getting to the point where she struggles to help him get in and out of the car as well. This gofundme, with the approval of a hesitant Karen/Stan, is to allow them the ability to purchase a used wheelchair-accessible van that Stan can wheel directly into and doesn't have to transfer. It will make life SO much easier for him to get to the places he needs and wants to go. These vans are very expensive and run around $40,000 for a used, converted van. Any amount will be accepted and appreciated. All funds (minus gofundme's small fee) will go directly to the family for the purchase of the van. Since they are uncomfortable with asking for help, I have created this on their behalf as a gift to my Aunt Karen and Uncle Stan. I see this as an opportunity to help an amazing family with a need.
