Arriving Ukrainian Immigrants

Hi. we are sponsoring three women who are Ukrainian immigrants seeking to escape a horrifying situation. We have petitioned and been granted visas under humanitarian parole. The women will arrive in the US on May 29. The group consists of a mother, her 15-year old daughter, and their neighbor. The husband / father died on March 16.

We have rented a property for them in our town of Bel Air, MD which is walkable and close to the school. Several people have asked me if they could help support the move. The purpose of this page is to create an opportunity for you to support the set-up and furnishing of the rental property. The estimated costs for basic furnishings and household items including a television is $8,000. There are also other needs such as a basic vehicle and personal computers ... if we beat our goal, any surplus will be given to the immigrants to help them get established.
