Arrowheart’s Emergency Vet and Hospital Fees

* Update: Unfortunately Arrowheart got worse and was diagnosed with juandice when he was being hospitalized for IV fluids in the day hospital and passed away this late morning (Sep 1st) in a emergency hospital :( The doctor said he may have had lymphoma also towards the end because his liver levels were skyrocketed and his sugar levels were high even though he barely ate the last week.

I was holding onto him when he passed to make sure he wasn’t in anymore pain. He slept with his sister and I before that one last night after I gave him his second dosage of subcutaneous fluids at home.

I am keeping the gofundme up because I want to make sure his sister and I afford bills, food and stay housed. I also had to just spend another $2,342 more for his hospital stays and treatment the last few days of his life which adds to the prior 6,000 plus I already had to charge recently on credit cards for all of his appointments and care lately. Thank you to all who cared about him and showed your love through caring actions towards us. His sister and I miss him dearly, but we know he is close in spirit and relieved he isn’t suffering here on earth anymore.

Hi everyone I need help covering Arrowheart’s Vet & hospitalization fees. He recently got diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism, low lymphocytes and he wasn’t eating or drinking enough so he had to get treatment in the hospital . Since he received the IV fluids he has perked up a bit and is finally eating and drinking again for the first time in a few days!

I charged $4,600 so far on credit cards and maxed out what I can spend in the last few days to get him exams/labwork both outside and in the hospital, and some diagnostics, the IV fluids and supportive care treatment in the hospital and and he is showing signs of improving! Now they also want to run an ultrasound and further diagnostics, and supportive care with medications and a different prescription diet to help him heal. What he has been diagnosed with so far is thank goodness treatable, and since he is showing signs of improvement and I maxed out on what I can charge/spend I started this first gofundme that I ever made to help him get all the care he needs.

Many of you have known me to fundraise for other’s causes and campaigns for over half my life now, and now I am asking you for help for us so we have enough for his bills and so I can afford to keep him, his fur baby sister and I housed.
