Scarlets battle against Leukemia

Hi, my name is Priscilla & I’m raising money to help support my niece, Scarlet Mccubbin. Scarlet was born 7/7/2021 with Down syndrome, an AV canal defect, and thrombocytopenia. The 1st year of Scarlets life was spent mostly in the Hospital at Oschners in New Orleans. She has overcome open heart surgery, a constant battle with platelet transfusions & complications from the heart surgery that led to a tracheostomy after being on a ventilator for multiple months. After a year of multiple series of test and treatments including multiple bone marrow biopsies, Scarlet has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. As of 6/7/23 Scarlet has been admitted into Oschners of New Orleans to begin her battle against the Leukemia. She will be staying in the hospital a month at a time and receiving chemotherapy. While in the hospital her mother Amanda Cuevas will be staying with her over the next 9 months or longer. Scarlets disability is being cut down to $30 a month. Scarlets father Mike will be home working as much as possible to provide what he can. Any donations will be going towards monthly bills, travel and help with Scarlets siblings.
