Art & Love 2019 Exhibition

Art and Love is a South Korean non-profit organization that hosts an annual exhibition with art pieces that are done by student participants. For the past ten years, we have been holding meaningful exhibitions every year. Each year, board members come up with different themes for exhibition, and all the participants produce artworks that correspond to the topic; this year, we chose Freedom as our topic.

Through the exhibition process, we got to learn a lot about the definition and importance of Freedom, which most of the people tend to forget about.

Today, as human trafficking is one of the most significant social issues, this fundraiser is targeted for human trafficking victims and survivors. Victims and survivors, who have lost their freedom and are trying to get back to lives, desperately need everyone's support. With this fundraiser, we are trying to raise to $2000, which can be split up for a variety of uses. A part of the donation will be dedicated to Anti-Slavery International, an organization that raises awareness of human trafficking. Another portion will be donated to an organization The Polaris, which advocates for stronger federal and state laws, and supports the survivors.
