We are the Bay Area Mural Program (BAMP), a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming communities through the power of art. This summer, we have an incredible opportunity to take our mission international with a mural and solar energy project in Kenya, and we need your help to make it happen!

The Project:

In partnership with local Kenyan artists, community leaders, and our esteemed partner GivePower, our team will create vibrant, large-scale murals that celebrate cultural heritage, promote social justice, and inspire positive change. Alongside these artistic endeavors, we will be installing solar panels to provide sustainable energy solutions for the community. These initiatives will not only beautify public spaces but also serve as a medium for storytelling, community engagement, and sustainable development.

Why Kenya?

Kenya has a rich cultural history and a dynamic arts scene. By collaborating with local artists and GivePower, we aim to foster cross-cultural understanding, support the global exchange of artistic ideas, and promote renewable energy. This project will provide our team with invaluable experience, broaden their perspectives, and strengthen international ties.

Our Goals:

- Artistic Exchange: Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions between Bay Area and Kenyan artists.

We have already raised significant funds for airfare, but we need an additional $15,000 to $20,000 to cover the remaining costs, including:
