Art Baron will ride again!

Hello, Art Baron here. As some of you may know I have been facing medical issues that have made playing trombone quite difficult, and seriously affected my ability to earn a living. It took all of 2023 to realize I had to focus on healing the issues to get back to what I love doing, PLAYING MUSIC!

2023 was a tough year for me. I had to turn down most of my work, get subs, etc. It was emotionally difficult, to say the least.

I’ve had a lot of time to think about how to go forward. I have been seeking all sorts of healing, traditional medicine and progressive modalities, including healers and diet. Now I am on a very intense diet to cleanse myself, in hopes that the right things will happen.

You will hear me say this often, that I have a lot more music in me that wants to come out, asap! Some of the help I'm getting is covered by insurance, but much is not covered and is out of pocket. That's why I am here at GoFundMe. I have gone through savings and things are tight now. I am hoping for financial help from my sisters and brothers of the musical community and other places as well.

I am so missing playing music for people, and I thank you beforehand for any help you can send my way. Any help will go to doctors, healers, medications, etc. And of course I need help for living expenses.

Music performance and preparation has been my life. I have been very fortunate to have opportunities to lead several different bands in my lifetime. I so enjoy hiring great musicians to perform with. I am so delighted to be on stage, creating musical events of all kinds with the Greatest musicians! I want to get back to playing with bands I am hired to be in and present bands of my own.
