Denmark Art Club Kids Need your help
Hi,
My name is Kendel and I started the Denmark Art Club two years ago after discovering a need for creative kids to express themselves in the community. Denmark Art Club has been operating from my garage at home, but due to conditions imposed on a home business we are at full capacity and have a waiting list of students keen to get creative.
Denmark Art Club runs classes for kids, adults and students with special needs. Through the Covid period I have found that art has been especially beneficial to the mental well being of all who attend.
Denmark Art Club now has the ability to expand into a commercial premises in town, however we need funds to convert a shed into a functional art space. Murphy’s shed is of historical significance to the Denmark community, having been constructed in 1948 it has been used as a workshop, machinery shed and more recently an art gallery.
Denmark Art Club aims to also create a place for local and visiting artists to access to share their skills with like minded people.
Denmark Art Club is seeking donations to create accessible ablution facilities and improve access to the shed. We would like to use local contractors in the renovations and require assistance to complete the work.
Any small amount you can afford will go a long way in helping the students achieve their potential and is greatly appreciated.
