ART FOR ASSISTANTS

It takes a village for a great photo shoot. No one works harder (and gets less credit) than the photo assistants. They work behind the scenes, supporting us for success. They are our community,  they are our work family. In this time period of zero production, it now means zero income for the freelance assistants. “Art for Assistants” is a campaign to turn paper and ink into financial support for our team.  “Art for Assistants” was started by Tim Tadder and now joined by several other wonderful photographers.

I am selling 100, 11”x14” prints of the two images at the top of the page, each in an edition of 50 prints. Prints are selling for $100 each, but of course, donations of any size are welcome. Egg, styled by Alessandra Mortola, and Red Book with plant.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale of these photography prints (with an exception of the 3% that goes to GoFundMe) will go to the photo assistants. “Art for Assistants” will mobilize the world’s greatest image-makers to sell limited edition prints in order to raise money for those effected in our industry by Covid -19

Any donation is great!! For donations of $100 or more, please send an email to LG@lauriefrankel.com  with your best mailing address and phone number along with the print of choice. Please choose either “Egg” or “Book”. Once we receive confirmation of donation, your limited edition print will be printed and mailed to you at the end of the fundraising campaign.
