Art for K-1 and EC classrooms at Hardin Park

For my birthday this year, I am asking for donations towards an Art Fund Project to allow me to go into Kindergarten, First Grade and 3 EC classes at Hardin Park Elementary to teach art.

Art is a necessary form of expression for children but Hardin Park K-1 students do not have the opportunity to go into the art classroom during the school year.

I am trying to raise funds to help pay for the materials I would need to go into the classrooms at least 3 times a year to teach art. Each art lesson is 2 hours long with 4 different art stations.

Last year I was able to teach the students about Yayoi Kusama and Wayne Thiebaud. It was such a joy to bring art into their classrooms. They used lots of different mediums including clay, paint, markers, and canvases.
