Art Takes Flight - Support LA Youth Art Programs

On Saturday June 17th, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, a Lear 60 aircraft, donated by Dreamline Aviation, will be transformed into a Peregrine Falcon by our LA Youth and local artist team, AQMNI. Supported by Arts Bridging the Gap and Signature Flight Support, this event is an undeniably significant moment in our community representing connection and support for our young dreamers who look up at the stars and wish to create to inspire.

The Organization:

Arts Bridging the Gap is a 501(c)3 Social Justice organization that uplifts the voices, experiences, and self-expression of youth from under-resourced communities through immersive arts programs. We seek to cultivate the skills, mindsets, and connections that will allow youth to be their best and fullest selves, as individuals and as members of diverse, thriving communities.

The plane will be our 80th mural and the first of its kind!

The Artists:

AQMNI is a young, inspiring, and effervescent married mural artist team. Ethel and Carlo grew up in the valley and are excited to be part of such an impactful project in their hometown. They create custom designed murals and art installations that tell stories through bold, imaginative art pieces.

They will work with youth from the valley to discover the heart of what makes them, them. They love murals for their accessibility to the public and thrive in the inclusive and shared experience.

We are looking for like-minded, philanthropic and generous individuals and sponsorship partners. We invite you and your organization to be an essential part of this special day. Every donation, no matter the amount, will play a crucial role in bringing us closer to our goal and helping those in need.

All proceeds from the event will support arts education programs for youth in under-resourced communities across Los Angeles via Arts Bridging the Gap, a 501(c)3 social justice organization.
