Art Visaya: Honoring His Life, Easing the Burden
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and compassionate individuals,
It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we gather here today to seek your support during this incredibly difficult time. We have tragically lost, Art Visaya, and now face the overwhelming responsibility of covering the unexpected funeral and burial costs. In our collective grief, we humbly ask for your assistance in raising funds to provide Art with the dignified farewell he deserves.
Art was a truly remarkable individual, radiating warmth, kindness, and creativity. His artistic talent knew no bounds, and his infectious laughter and unwavering optimism touched the lives of all who knew him. He was a cherished friend, and a devoted family member, always ready to lend a helping hand and brighten the darkest of days. His absence leaves an irreplaceable void in our hearts.
For those who were unaware, Art had been bravely battling stage 4 pancreatic and liver cancer, beginning treatment on May 22, 2023. He was able to complete 2 treatments and was cleared to begin his third the morning of Friday, June 30th.
On that same day, Art made the decision to attend a live play performance with his mother, sister, a nephew, and niece at Kaimuki High School. However, towards the end of the show, tragedy struck unexpectedly. Art experienced a cardiac arrest, which resulted in irreversible damage to his heart and brain. Art passed from this world and to his heavenly home on Monday, July 3rd at 9:45 am.
This sudden loss has left us all reeling with shock and profound sadness. Art's presence in our lives was a true gift, and his spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
During this difficult time, we ask for your understanding, support, and prayers for Art's family and loved ones as they navigate the challenging path of grief. Your kind words and gestures of comfort has provided much-needed solace during this period of mourning.
Sadly, the financial burden of organizing a proper funeral and burial has caught us unprepared. We firmly believe that honoring Art's memory with a beautiful service is essential, but the associated costs have placed an unbearable strain on our shoulders. It is in this time of need that we turn to you, our extended community, seeking your generosity and support to help alleviate this tremendous burden.
The funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will be solely dedicated to covering the funeral and burial expenses for Art Visaya. These costs include, but are not limited to:
1. Funeral service arrangements and venue
2. Casket selection
3. Cemetery plot and burial fees
4. Transportation of Art's remains
5. Funeral service expenses
6. Necessary permits and legal documentation
7. Floral arrangements and tribute displays
8. Any additional costs related to the funeral and burial proceedings
Your donation, regardless of its size, will make a significant difference in our ability to give Art the farewell he deserves. Every contribution will be deeply appreciated, providing us with the means to honor Art's memory and ensure his final journey is filled with dignity and respect. By lending your support, you will offer a helping hand to Art's grieving loved ones, easing their burden during this heartbreaking time.
We understand that not everyone may be in a position to contribute financially, and we genuinely appreciate any prayer, emotional support and kind words you can offer. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign with your network, extending our reach to those who may be able to assist.
On behalf of Art's family and friends, we express our heartfelt gratitude for considering our plea for support. Together, let us unite in honoring the memory of our beloved Art Visaya, providing solace and comfort to those left behind.
Thank you for your compassion, love, and generosity.
