Artemis - Stray with hurt leg needs amputation
Tax deductible
There was a post in a local FB group, asking for help for a stray with a "mangled foot". One of our foster moms picked up the cat - the residents were calling him "Broke Foot".
We named him Artemis to give him a fresh start! He is a young cat and is very affectionate and learning what life is like indoors.
We believe his right rear leg got caught in something – it is non functioning and non weight bearing. He also has a huge gash on that paw.
Artemis will be seen by a vet and xrayed so we can figure out what care is needed going forward. We will also take care of his neuter, vaccinations and combo test.
We appreciate every donation as we are sure his initial xrays will be around $200 and any potential treatment will be extremely expensive. His first vet visit is Monday, April 26 with AMC, one of the local ortho vets.
