Arthur Labinjo-Hughes Memorial Garden

Hi, my name is Sarah and like everyone else in our community, I have been deeply affected by the tragic events and the ultimate death surrounding the courageous little boy who believed "nobody loves me", Arthur.
Despite everything we have seen and read in the news, there is more to Arthur than a boy who was tortured and killed by the people who should have been protecting him.
Madeleine Halcrow Arthurs devoted grandmother said ‘He was happy and smiling, he was my daughter’s baby bear and my sunny delight. He was gentle, caring, compassionate, he had a wicked sense of humour, he was just adorable, I ask that we can all remember him for his beautiful qualities". ....
And that's what I intend to do.
And that's what I intend to do.
Arthur loved football and was a huge BCFC fan - he loved super heroes and Spiderman and I am calling on everyone to work together to give him something that will keep him alive, at least in our minds. Let's make him what he would only dream to be a "Super Hero" of our community.
I am raising funds to create a "super hero" themed memorial and family garden in Arthur's memory. A space that children and families can enjoy, can be free , feel safe and experience the delights that Arthur brought to so many people.
This will involve our whole community, together we will create ideas, design the space and give an opportunity for everyone to take part in any way they can to make Arthur's garden just like him, beautiful, inside and out.
The money raised will pay for all of the hard and soft landscaping, building materials, machinery, water fountains and any the items that are needed to make the space perfect. The more money we can raise the more we can include but a good starting point is £10,000.
Please help me to help families and children enjoy the outdoors together through a magical garden located in Solihull, the place where he really was loved.
