Arthur the bulldog

This is Arthur, my 8 year old, old English bulldog. He has always been resilient, strong and playful.

For approximately the past month, I noticed he has not been eating, he started losing weight and I noticed constant black stool which was a big sign for concern. We got him to the vet and they gave him medications thinking it was an ulcer hoping that it would slowly help him recover from intestinal bleeding. However it has been over a month and there is still no improvement. His condition is rapidly declining, he has lost over 14 pounds in less than a month, refuses to eat much throughout the day and after eating will almost always proceed to eat grass to vomit everything back out. The next step is to proceed with a colonoscopy, X-ray, and various other tests which will confirm the possibility of cancer. This is what the vets have concluded thus far from his symptoms. I am trying to raise money to move forward with trying to help him in his condition, it’s heartbreaking seeing his sudden shift in energy. He has been constantly isolating himself due to pain and we are unable to do anything more until we know what’s wrong. This is a big ask and there are many things that are in need of attention and support, so it would be so greatly appreciated if anyone could help in any way.
