It is with our deepest regrets to report that Arthur Quinn Augustus, has lost his battle against Pneumonia and Colon Cancer.
As some of you may be aware, Arthur went into the hosptial to have a Bowels Obstruction Surgery. That surgery went well, but soon after his body became Septic, and things took a turn for the worse and Pneumonia and attack his lungs. Soon after, other organs began failing. After a month plus of Arthur battling and fighting infections, his body could no longer fight.
Arthur fought long and hard. A true sign of a warrior. Know that he sent his love, care, and affection while going through the journey. He had each and everyone of you in mind and was more concerned about the well being of his friends and family. He asked questions and wrote notes (just to name a few things) to check on folk. Not once concerned about himself.
That's what I loved, and what I'll remember most about him. How much he loved people and how much he loved God.
