Gear for Artic Bikepacking Expedition

In Iran, women are banned from riding bikes.

Mahshid Hadi fled Iran with nothing but the clothes on her back. Since immigrating to Vancouver four years ago, cycling has played a huge role in helping her navigate her new life in Canada.

Here is the latest project in collaboration with Livcycling and weareweltraveld women-led film company.

Mahshid’s latest pursuit is to bike pack 500km, self-supported, from Tuktoyaktuk to the Arctic Circle in the fall of 2023. She will be making a film about her journey and the driving forces behind it.

Mahshid is asking for donations to buy the necessary gear for her trip. The temperatures will be punishing, and it's vital that she's properly equipped.
