Artificial Eyes For Nittaya Muangmo
Donation protected
Nittaya Muangmon was born with her eyes facing inwards and skin covering the outside.
Her fingers were also stuck together and her feet had not developed in the womb - leaving her with just stumps on her legs.
Doctors in Hat Yai, southern Thailand, removed both her eyes leaving her permanently blind.
Locals monks have donated 25,000THB (500GBP) towards reconstructive facial surgery for the condition.
But her mom Paniya, who is just 15 years old , is now hoping to raise more towards the cost of operations in Thailand.
She hopes that by having artificial eyes and some degree of facial surgery, Nittaya will be able to have an easier life when she gets older.
We are taking donations on behalf of the Nittaya and Paniya to pass to them in Hat Yai towards their operation.
