Due to the Covid 19 virus restrictions Artisans Nest Gallery closed its doors in late March.
We survived the bush fire now we need your help to survive the virus. You have supported us for the past 8 years and we hope we have added a little bit of stardust to the village of Bodalla.
Artisans Nest needs financial help to see us through. Artisans Nest is a not for profit incorporated group of artists on the south coast of NSW. We have carefully managed our finances since opening in 2012 but this is breaking us.
If you can help us with a donation of any amount it would be much appreciated.
Funds are needed by the end of July for us to survive. If you wish to deposit directly to Artisans Nest our bank is NAB, BSB and Account no. is 082739 142275691
None of the assistance packages have been available to us and we have had no source of income for two months. Our funds will soon be down to $0 as we continue to pay electricity, insurance and a slightly reduced rent offered by our landlord.
Artisans Nest means a lot to our community who support each other and nurture creativity in this artist run gallery. Locals and visitors alike comment on the quality of our offerings and our welcoming space. We plan to reopen 3 days a week in June dependent on Covid 19 restrictions. We survived the bushfire crisis, and we want to survive this crisis. The Nest was closed for most of January due to bushfire threats to our shop and our homes. Two of our members lost their homes.
This boutique gallery is housed in an 1860's cottage in the main street of Bodalla on the highway between Moruya and Narooma on the south coast of NSW. We have operated 7 days a week since 2012. Each day one of the artist members opens the shop for the public to see and buy the locally made artworks. Original clothing, accessories, jewellery, wall art, textiles and more.
