Artist of George Floyd Mural Needs Help
Donation protected
My name is Atlioux. In 2020, I assisted in the painting of the George Floyd mural at the Apple Store in Portland.
On September 19, 2023, three years later, Portland Police Bureau arrested me for allegedly painting a rose with the word "love" on black plywood. This black plywood was less than 1,000 ft. from where I painted 3 years prior.
To my knowledge, the multi-million dollar company that owns the building still has the George Floyd mural and plans on profiting off of it and auctioning it off.
Ironically, on my court date for painting, I stumbled upon a commissioned mural of myself and others painting on the same building– proudly on display at the Multnomah County Courthouse.
I need your help as I battle the hypocrisy and irony. Funds will be used for any fines that I may owe, as well as bus fare to and from hearings. Any money not used will be donated to @ForTheKids in Haiti.

TLDR; was arrested for painting illegally on plywood. went to court and saw a mural of me illegally painting on plywood. going to pay a multi-million dollar company over $500 in "damages" to their removable black painted plywood, probation, and community service, the same building who had my "illegal" art on their building for a little over 2.5 years.
