Artist wants to beat cancer

The proverbial starving artist is not one who is literally starving, but one who has dedicated their life to art and never reached the pinnacle of riches and fame. However, my love for my calling in life is anything but a shortage of rewards. I started painting at 15 and earned my fair share of accolades. Always going from feast to famine, I developed a keen faith that I could make a living with this gift. 50 years later I have been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer that has spread to my liver. I haven't been able to paint in over a year, because my creativity has been eclipsed with a lump on my upper right lung, crushing my bronchial tubes and a nerve to my vocal chord, thus impairing my voice. My chest hurts, constantly coughing up mucus as well as other discomforts. After going through a battery of tests, scans and consultations with doctors and specialists, they give me an extra year of life through radiation treatments and chemotherapy. I may have to do this initially just for some relief. But, I have always been a great believer in alternatives based on testimonials of people who have beat their cancers. And that is part of my plan for recovery and remission. I have researched these methods as much as I research the subject matter of a painting, thoroughly and meticulously. The main course of action is juicing to deal with the liver. Then there will be the enormous expense of organic vegetables to maintain the diet. I'm also pursuing essential oils, which many cancer patients are having amazing results with. There are several other less expensive disciplines which I am already making part of my daily routine. My mind and spirit are positive and with your help I can defeat the cancer and fulfill my life's purpose to paint the wonderful beauties of our earth. My art site may convince you that the love of my life is worthy of your support. http://www.markdowneyart.com
