Cooperative Economics (to build and maintain our own stores, shops and other businesses together)!

 ARTS4PEACE  campaign description:
Multi-faceted Program for inner city Cleveland, Ohio youth seeking to make a change in their lives by learning entrepreneurship, cooperative economics, workforce development and financial literacy.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 for (5 components).

1. Stipend pay for "youth" enrolled (contingent upon attendance and other requirements).
2. Art Supplies for 36 youth
3.  Art and entrepreneurial instruction
4. Provide healthy snacks and field trips.  
5. Create and Participate in calendar year Art Shows 2015-2016).

This summer we had 31 youth ages (14-18) work with us a camp counselors earning pay from a non profit by the name of Youth Opportunities Unlimited. 
The youth were positive, respectful and are movtiaved to learn!

These youth and others in the community  will Learn how to create their own job opportunity i.e., through online selling,  creating and producing products to sell (Acrylic Paintings, Crafts, and other art forms to earn income).

Your support will enable our youth to "earn while they learn".  the economic conditions in our communities for teen employment is dismal.

Our company would like to offer a learning experience that will teach youth how to create the job opportunity themselves as entrepreneurs.

This is an opportunity for all of us to bring in money into the community by supporting the youth in the community.  Project Ujamaa - ARTS4PEACE is a multifaceted work force development , cooperative economics and entrepreneurship initiative.
